Our First Christmas Tree

After three Christmases in our house, finally! On our first, I was about to give birth to Gabbie so it was inconvenient for me to decorate the house and re-arrange the furniture to make space for a tree.

On the second, Gabbie has started walking and exploring everything inside the house- and eating everything she sees inside the house (those colorful balls and flower decors included)

On the third, our house was under renovation.

And so this year, we wished for a tree, but the kind that can fit in one corner of our small living room.

Gabbie actually helped putting it up. And she wanted to be the one to decorate our first Christmas tree.

Thanks Santa for a wish come true.

Music Class @ Gymboree

They danced, they sang together, they played instruments, they played games... and got stamped on their hands, feet and even on their tummy :)

There was a part when they were asked one by one to sing their favorite songs. When the teacher asked who wanted to sing first, Gabbie raised her hand instantly. The teacher asked what song she wanted to sing and she said confidently, "Twinkle!"

So she sang her favorite song Twinkle Twinkle. Mommy and daddy were so awed that they forgot to take a photo and video.

Puzzle (before bed) time

Aside from reading a book with mommy or daddy (current favorite is The Eensy Weensy Spider), this is her favorite thing to do before bedtime.

Pabitin :)

More on Haya's birthday- Gabbie couldn't wait for the Pabitin part so she took a chair, and tried to grab the stuff. But she still wasn't tall enough (buti na lang! nakakahiya kay Haya eh. hehe!).

Well, at least she tried. Haha.

Elmo, at last!

Gabbie met "Elmo" last Saturday during a kiddie party. Unlike other mascots, she was not scared. She embraced, sat on his lap and had a photo with Elmo as if he was a long lost bestfriend.

I have a wish. And my wish is to win 3 VIP tickets (or any ticket) for the The Little Big Club Concert in December. Gabbie will be very delighted to see Barney and Bob in person. I'm sure she can sing and dance along very well, she knows Barney and Bob the Builder songs by heart.

Santa I hope you can hear me.

Gabbie at Gymboree

One of the reasons why we can not afford a big party on Gabbie's 3rd birthday is because we've signed her up in Gymboree just recently, in preparation for her formal schooling next school year.

She was supposed to have a trial class in Music or Arts. But she slept in the car on the way to Eastwood. The Music class was supposed to be 2-3PM; she woke up at 3:30, too late also for the Arts class, so we just used our coupon for an hour of play in the play area.

There were two other kids whose names sound like hers, only different in spelling (Gabby and Gaby). Gaby was her playmate, they're almost of the same age. She will be Gabbie's classmate in the Music class next Saturday.

Gabbie at Kids Expo (Musikgarten demo)

Despite the rain, we went to Rockwell Tent last Saturday to join other kids and moms in the Kids Expo organized by Mommy Mundo. There were a lot of kiddie booths and Gabbie enjoyed playing with others kids, reading, watching kids perform and even joining one of the activities herself.

This is a class demo by Musikgarten. Gabbie loves singing and dancing and playing, so obviously she had so much fun.

Aside from the experience and a lot of freebies, I was able to get Shoo Fly Mosquito spray at 25% off; Gabbie's costume/dress for trick or treat at a really discounted price; and I won in a raffle and one of the prizes is a 4-day trial ballet class for Gabbie! Isn't it amazing? :)
