Celebrating Christmas...

December 24 afternoon, Gabbie's friends Bambam and Ainah visited her and daddy didn't let the opportunity to take their pics by the Christmas tree.

At 8PM we started the party for Greenheights kids. There were about 40 of them present. They we all up to dancing, playing and having fun.

We ended the party with sharing some goodies to the kids, and nobody went home empty handed.

And then it's time for our Noche Buena! We had baked macaroni, hotdogs and mallows, macaroni salad, sandwich and ham.

Next comes opening of gifts. Gabbie got a lot of stuff, and so did daddy.

and this one is their gift for mommy.

The next morning, we attended the mass.

Went around the village to greet everyone "Merry Christmas"

and spent some time in lola's house for lunch and some pictorial by their tree.

After a short nap we went to Worlds Of Fun where Gabbie rode for the first time a roller coaster. 

Star City Zip Line Experience

It was a bonding day for Gabbie and her Ninang Kathie. Gabbie tried several rides and games, etc. but this one is the ultimate experience a child her age (and height) can have in Star City.

I did not see any signs of fear or apprehension in her. She was the most willing among us (Kathie, Belle, me and daddy) and she even asked for more even after doing it twice already. One little brave girl. I'm so proud of my baby :)

The best gift by the tree

We've got big and small; some wrapped in plain, some in color.

But the best Christmas gift of all, for mommy and daddy is Gabbie.

A Well Spent Friday

Fridays are best spent learning (Storytelling at Fully Booked by Cambridge)

playing (on the greeny grounds of Fort Bonifacio High Street)

dining with beautiful Ninang and Tita (Bon Chon- Velasquez Park)

watching the fantastic light show (Ayala Triangle)

posing for mommy's camera (Tower 1 giant Belen and Christmas Tree)

and partying with daddy's officemates (Manila Pen Hotel)

Christmas music

I was playing Christmas songs one morning when Gabbie asked "Mommy, what's that sound?"

I said "That's Christmas music."

She said "Ah.. I like Christmas music Mommy. I want to dance Christmas music."

Then she went down and danced slowly to the tune of "Christmas in our Hearts".

From then one, for anything related to Christmas, she uses the word "Christmas" to describe it- Christmas bag, Christmas plate, Christmas paper (for the gift wraps), Christmas glass, etc.

I think she will grow up loving Christmas like me.

It's my most favorite time of the year.
